Member Renewals 2011

We will be renewing memberships from Tuesday 11 January through to the end of February.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: - 7:30 pm ~ 9:30 pm in the Members' Bar.

Saturdays and Sundays: - 12:00 pm ~ 2:00 pm in the Office or the Main Function Hall.

For any members wanting to renew at lunchtimes; please leave your swipe card in an envelope containing the correct money, with Jenny behind the bar and we will return them back to you the next day. If there are any changes to your details, please enclose a letter and we will amend our database.

If you are renewing joint membership, please have both cards with you, although only one joint member needs to come to the Club at the time of renewal.

Any new members should bring a completed application form and we will try and fit you in between renewals!

VAT Increase

Due to the well-publicised VAT increase, we have had no option but to increase the prices of our drinks and services to members and external Club users. A new bar tariff will be published soon and will take effect from 10 January 2011.

In the past, the Club has not charged VAT on membership fees, although we have had to pay VAT on the fees received. This has proved to be a costly exercise for the Club and we are no longer in a position to cover this shortfall. Unfortunately, therefore, we will be increasing membership fees to account for VAT at the new level. However, this still results in only a small increase and fees for the forthcoming year will be as follows:

Use of the car park will go up from £23.00 to £28.00 a year.
